BBC - Imperial War Museum film shows Manchester Blitz damage
Rare footage of the Manchester Blitz is being screened for the first time at Imperial War Museum North.
The World War II propaganda film shows the devastation caused by German bombs on Market Street and Piccadilly during the nights of 22 and 23 December 1940.
Almost 700 people were killed and thousands injured.
Called Manchester Took It Too, the film will be screened in full at Imperial War Museum North in Trafford at 1pm, Sunday 12 December.
