From 1993 till 2001 I was participate in several championships around the world, Ukraine, Netherlands, Poland, France, Romania, Czech Republic, Canada and Switzerland.
It’s necessary to talk about that sport results may be much better, but there are several reasons:

1) From the building time to last flight’s there is no any possibility to neutralize the sport.

2) From 1991 to the present time there is no any financiering of Ukraine sport’s men. All this time we are looking for the money independently, but the training time was quite absent.

3) From 1978 till 2002 FAI rules was changed several times and there was the necessity to modernize the AN-8 model. Well but in the entire world there is no other model witch is so long used time and flew so much championships. Every time almost with good results. I have 24 years expirations in championships with my AN-8. At the present time the documents are getting up to fix the gunnies book of records. There are many other magazines and newspapers with information of the AN-8. Beside that there is a book for building Flying Control line Models of Rölf Wille 1986 Germany, were also is the information about the AN-8

Regularity of Structure

The fuselage is a monocoque structure, the shell of a monocoque is a sandwich, and it consists of balsa wood sheets. Then a honeycomb, followed balsa and aluminum sheets. The wing lending gear’s and control line equipment reinforced at the one powerful knot. Under the tail part of the fuselage there is the cargo door. In cockpits of the crew and the tail one there are 5 mannequins of pilot’s and another member’s of the crew. Also there is all the original equipment for the crew. At the top of fuselage there is a twinkle light, but at the tail – navigation light’s. The wing is a usual structure covered by aluminum sheets. Fuel tanks are in the wings as in the real one. There are navigation lights at the wings ends. All gears have the hydraulic system to provide soft take off and landing. Under the cockpit there are storage batteries. Under the wing inside of the fuselage there is the electrical and mechanical equipment to provide all model functions. Inside the tail part of the fuselage there is the slot machine to drop 5 parachutes with interval. At the top and left side of the fuselage there is the emergency hatchway and the crew door to provide technical operation inside the fuselage. The plane is full of details.
